@W5VO It's almost like if you want to build a $100 million company by selling $0.50 parts, you need to sell a whole bunch of them at a time to make it work.

Folks, does anyone know how to interpret JEDEC ID for SPI Flash chips?
I've got a S25FL127S Flash memory. I'm sending a 0x9F command to it. I'm getting 0x01, 0x20, 0x18 back.
I can't seem to find the values in the datasheet. How can I make sense of this ID? Does it make any sense? Or, is this garbage data?
... nevermind. I've figured it out: table 47 in the datasheet. You, guys, are always an inspiration.

Q: Problem with receive- rate inconsistency using HC05 Bluetooth module

Zeta.InvestigatorI have a 3 node system (and a PC). Central node asks the other 2 nodes for some data (and also sends to them) wirelessly using nRF24 (2.4Ghz Nordic propriety protocol). Central node then sends a packet to a software I've written using Java. This transmission is done using HC05 Bluetooth module u...

Stupid question. If a schottky diode #1 has a larger forward voltage breakdown than schottky diode #2, is it safe to assume that #2 has a smaller forward voltage drop?

Looks like the guy is into these stuff :jerobeamfenderson.net
We have here a small scale preview of what the us will see after all the snow melts. Half a meter wide stream is now between 5 and 10 meters wide

@Tri forward voltage breakdown? Usually it's reverse

Hey guys, could someone please read my question about EMC testing and FCC? My head is spinning in circles thinking about it. electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/347792/…
Basically I have an Arduino shield that uses a pre-certified cellular module (like Adafruit FONA products) and I'm wondering if I should bother getting it tested for EMC. A lab is quoting me like $37k since I'm using a different antenna than the one used during the module's certification process.
