@packs Y'know, some days I wonder why you and I bother hanging out here. Not that I don't enjoy your company here or anything, but who else really shows up on a regular basis anymore?
Hm. Well, I just noticed that the -s0 tcpdump I kicked off on our datacenter border yesterday was still running.
I can't believe I didn't fill up the disk on that box
@Iszi I just read your question, and the comments, about provoking from falling. In the case of being bull rushed off the cliff, I would have to read the rules more closely, but I don't think you would provoke.
@GrahamLee Sorry. It's just that about 79% of the time, it feels like it's just me and @packs. Occasionally we'll see you, @RoryAlsop, or @AviD, but that's about it.
I should probably write a factually correct answer. I get the feeling that it would start a shitstorm, but those are the breaks.
@GrahamLee 3.5 was about the time that my playing group fell apart, so I didn't really live through any of that.
I didn't get back into it until 4th came out, and my current group didn't really enjoy the play too much so we jumped to Pathfinder when it was released.
They don't seem to focus on puking out the rules books like WotC had been.
Though they're scaling back a lot now.
Merles was saying that they finally noticed exactly how much errata was being produced, and realized that they were putting content out too quickly to actually playtest it.
I'd like to see the figure on people still using IE on the Mac. They say saving hours of work for web developers very true for IE6 but IE on the Mac would be saving weeks of work.
lol its true but maybe its to make people think there data is up in the sky and when it rains the data is beind defragged. you seen the apparent new feature of Windows 8 where your going to be able to login with your live ID to the machine.
@packs I presume AOO = Attack of Opportunity? In 4e they're just called Opportunity Attacks or OAs. An OA is just a MBA that's sort of half-way between an Immediate Interrupt and Immediate Reaction.
@GrahamLee Aren't they like the top in rank for pirated copies of Windows?
@Iszi Yeah, they renamed it as OA in 4e. The 3/3.5/Pathfinder approach was pretty similar. It's just a single attack at your highest bonus, and is (as you mentioned) an interrupt action.
