6:25 AM
@ThoriumBR That guy looks way too old to be me
@FireQuacker That might be me :)

6 hours later…
12:08 PM
@ThoriumBR I thought you were supposed to gain NHT for providing coverage

you gain if and only if someone was in the area to ask you for coverage and you responded...
someone pings the network, you receive the ping and respond, the network knows you are online and providing service

Ah, well...then this tech will probably die like all the other "we'll change the world" techbro projects
With nobody except a handful of dedicated users using it

so if more than one hotspot in on the area, they ping each other and you earn something. if you are the only one, nobody knows where you are and that you are online.

Why not create two hotspots then?
Also, I had a lovely discussion with my mother about NFTs
And I said whenever someone says "NFT", mentally replace it with "Nothing"

it does little sense... providing coverage pays 0.19% of something, while providing bandwidth provides 35%

12:11 PM
"Oh man, check it out! I bought nothing that used to belong to Pewdiepie before!"

so buying 2 hotspots only to ping each other means ROI larger than the expected life of the project
and LoRaWAN is M2M. the coverage area of a LoRaWAN hotspot is HUGE... so any company with a serious usage will put a gateway on the top of a high building for free, and created their own network
I don't expect utilities paying helios for using something that they can build for the same price and not having to purchase "data credits" using a random token on a Russian exchange

But blockchain, man!
It's the future
Like Hyperloop, or Fontus, or Solar Freakin' Roadways!!!!!

hyperloop may make sense depending on a number of factors... solar roadways gave me an idea

Hyperloop doesn't make any sense
Vacuum trains are a HORRIBLE idea

NFT Solar RoadWays! HD Photos of the first failed experiment!

12:16 PM
Solar roadways are small, hexagonal panels, right?
Sell an NFT per panel

forgive me, I was thinking on the tunnels bellow Vegas... hyperloop is really not practical at all

"You own the road, duuuuude. (Not really, duuuuude)"
Even the tunnel below vegas makes NO sense

@MechMK1 yep! I laughed at them and still laughing

It fails at every single spec they put out and has zero safety methods
You wanna know what the LVCC Loop is? A huge advertising platform for tesla, nothing more
"We'll go 150 MPH!" - "Okay, it's more like 30, but duuuuuuude, the future!!!"

it makes sense if you look on the big picture... have you ever heard of any established boring company before? nope, because they are underground, nobody thinks of them...

12:18 PM
The boring company is a failure too

now tesla says it can create tunnels bellow any city for a fraction of the price, companies get worried

Yeah, but they never did
They say they can, with no success stories to show

and they appear here and there saying "they cannot, those are the prices"... and other companies will say "they are charging too much, we can do better"

Elon Musk is a snakeoil salesman
He has no success stories to show
He just claims he can, and when people start criticizing him, he just comes up with another stupid project to blind his followers once more

well, spacex is doing good
tesla is doing good
amazon had nothing to show for 20 years until they got profitable

12:21 PM
Tesla is doing shit compared to other electric cars. All of them are establishing standards, just Tesla is going their own way
I wouldn't call amazon a "success story"
More a nightmare tale
Tesla is trying to become the Apple of e-cars

I disagree... they sell way more than all other electric companies combined

Again, bigger picture

the stock price is overinflated for sure, its valuation is not real, but they are doing good

It's not just their economic success - it's the fact that they actively hinder the rollout of electric cars

a lucrative nightmare tale

12:22 PM
Lucrative, yes. But extremely destructive

like almost any large company: facebook, shell, exxon, british petrol, monsanto...

And you know my political beliefs...I am not a fan of international monoliths

sustainable practices and lucrative practices are on opposite sides

Small and medium-sized local companies will always get my favour

yep, agree

12:25 PM
"You're against multinational companies and for environmental protection? Cool, I'm green too!" - "Green?"
Why do you think I buy on farmer markets and local butchers as much as possible?
The rest is self-destructive

8 hours later…
8:25 PM
"I'm not a security expert" and "I am building an online casino"... what could possibly go wrong?

1 hour later…
9:33 PM
@ThoriumBR "I am building a casino" + "I am not a mathematical genius" is an interesting combination also
I guess that's just a casino wallet system though
