One of the things I do is work as part of an advisory body providing guidance to the Scottish government on how to be more secure, how to help the population be safer and more secure etc. There is a lot of good that can be done. I'm sure most folks who work for government are not evil

we have 2 options:
1- live where we are now for 15 months, sell the car, finance the house for 35 years paying 30% more on the mortgage than our renting
or
2- move to a small apartment on another city for 15 months, don't sell the car, finance the house for 12 years and pay 10% less on mortgage than on our current rent

mortgage goes from 35 years to 12, and monthly payment from 4k to 2.6k

with interest rates close to double digits, anything you can put in downpayment shaves A LOT on the principal... and cuts a lot on the montlhy and duration of everything

Heh, I actually figured out what those tweets are referencing. They are apparently the "number of rockets fired by Hamas" towards Israel and Israeli' citizens.

This is what Israel do best, they oppress the Palestinians, then the Palestinians fight back (perhaps by throwing rocks) and Israel screams at the US: "we're being oppressed, we're being oppressed!" then the US and the rest of the west rally in favour of Israel, meanwhile Israel are the ones committing a genocide.
