it basically have robots calculating the economy so well that every single company and government would send the plans to the robots and they would send back adjusts, they implemented the plan as the robots said, and the best possible outcome would be true

as the robots are directed by the famous three laws, they would never ever create an outcome that would damage any human, so things were good

10 years ago I wrote an article I don't know where about replacing the democracy by the "algoritocracy", where algorithms would rule.. but today I would be against that

I've worked with AI in a couple "real world" projects, and I saw biases on those algorithms that you cannot easily remove without adding bias to the other side. and I saw algorithms being unfair or downright broken and those affected by them have no recourse

it's like training an AI to look at the logos of the companies and predict the stock price in 10 years

I worked on a project trying to predict the outcome of a plea at the work courts... we got a massive number of processes, and had an AI check those all and predict if the plea should be accepted or not. about 95% were not accepted, and that was expected.... but some accepted ones were so blatantly wrong that we scratched our heads on why the heck the AI accepted those

and we didn't took much time to see why some denied pleas were denied, because of the sheer number of denied ones

and that's the main problem.. if your trading bot did a mistake, you can re-create the scenario, trace the variables and the source code and know why it did what it did... on neural networks you cannot... it's a black box: input-> magic -> output

and some well known singers down here are receiving BRL 600, the amount of gas they spend on their cars when they go shopping...

some of them returned the money when they knew they got it and said it was a mistake on gov side, but some others kept the money and only returned it after public humiliation
