@Gilles it kind of is from a security implementation stand point in terms of making decisions about how you implement. ie, is there a disadvantage to using a VM for your security implementation
that's the point of connection, but it isn't a particularly strong one and is kind of peripheral
but it doesn't really fit super well anywhere. I may end up just simplifying it to the particular instruction set though, at which point it becomes a SU or SF question
@AJHenderson if you were worried about e.g. side channel resistance then both Sec.SE and Crypto would be contenders. But I don't see how Sec.SE would be a contender about performance. OTOH performance of crypto is on-topic on Crypto.SE.
if it's an administration architecture question, it might work on SF
Either way I don't see what impact a VM would have on crypto performance: that's pure computation. It might have an impact on I/O; if that's your concern then Crypto.SE isn't the right place.
'course, the flights are only scheduled to start next April 1st.... which made everybody believe they were getting a headstart on pranking everyone....
@DavidFreitag we had a weird noise in the kitchen tonight, one of the cats had managed to get into a gap under the sink and investigated under the house
Hi someone told me my app crytpo algorithm was not IND-CPA. I can oonly find complex information online about it but still got no clue How do I make it so isn't SSL connection good enough?
