@LucasKauffman absolutely needs to be there otherwise a lot of companies will take the micky. Especially bad when you're a sub-contractor as you may never see the work after it gets re-scheduled...
though it isn't quite as depressing as a year ago when I realized when I was working at a middle school conference that nobody there was born when I had originally started working with that particular conference
