And apparently your secure phone is completely compromised once your teenage daughter's hacked phone connects to your home wifi. It's really amazing technology. Oh, these precocious little hackers are such scamps!
Thankfully, their cryptographic key lets you know exactly what alley they're sitting in, as soon as they connect to the Internet.
@ScottPack It's like they don't even try. This is possibly worse than a Dan Brown attempt at technology. It's random terms thrown into an ostensibly unrelated plot.
@Xander When i watch anything on television, i always turn the intelligent part of my brain off. Especially for "The Big Bang Theory" which i hate with a fiery burning passion.
@ScottPack Yes! I own the whole series on DVD, but I've only watched Season 1, the start of Season 2, all of Season 7, and most of Season 8 so far. Great fun. Lots of good handgun-craft.
Oh, I never much argued with the capabilities of some of the things they said existed, what I thought were ridiculous was the technobabble they used to do things.
@ScottPack I can't remember how terribly they're scripted. I'm sure it's awful. I only remember the implausible access they had to every electronic system on earth.

@TerryChia yeah, I was also going to say, I trust facebook about as far as I can throw them so I have my lowest security password on there. I don't give it out willy nilly, but if the hash file ever leaked, it would be broken in all of about 10 seconds
@Simon consider how guilty he will feel if it turns out she isn't hiding anything. what a violation that would have been, and then the hypocrisy in not telling her what he did
while they may not want to break it to a significant other if they are fooling around, generally if asked calmly about it, it will be much harder for them to lie unless they are truely pathological
it's most often a fear thing
so if you make it a non-threatening question, then they'll most likely get an honest answer

why does the guy want to lie to his gf about spying on her? because he is afraid. Why does someone cheating generally lie (by ommission) about it? because they are afraid of hurting their significant other. remove that fear and you can get an honest answer generally
@deed02392 I'm not ashamed to say that I did look into my ex's stuff (no keylogged or anything that crazy) because she gave me reasons to believe that there was something wrong.

@deed02392 exactly, suspicions are something that need to be addressed for a relationship to remain healthy (which coincidentally is why it is good to not get upset if your actions make someone suspicious)
@Simon I guess the question would be how did you go about asking her? You have to be careful how you go about asking questions like that if you want an honest answer
you think it's fine because you were right, she was lying/cheating. i'm trying to say you could have been wrong, then you would have been that lying, cheating person
you pretty much have to ask in a way that makes it clear you'd rather be hurt and know the truth than lied to and have your feelings protected and it has to be non-threatening. You have to be prepared to accept any answer without blowing up in their face and be able to sell that.
