@Adnan Initially my feeds just used to be comics. At the time I didn't like using Reader or iGoogle to read everything, so I wrote a python script that kept a folder updated with the recent comics :)
@Adnan CAD got slated as a really bad comic for a while, and I'm inclined to agree. Started as a comic about an idiot and his friends, who were all into video games. Got more and more "sitcom", main character (the idiot) hooked up with a hot gamer girl, became rather cliche, and ended up having a story arc where she got pregnant and had a miscarriage (because, y'know, that kinda thing fits perfectly in a gamer comic)
eventually Tim Buckley got fed up with the comic, because he'd essentially pigeon-holed his characters and was having to resort to more and more outlandish stories to keep it interesting, so he ended it with some crazy time travel thing.
and now started over with The Players (4 random game players that kill each other repeatedly) which is way more funny

I think my current internship at RedHat is pretty awesome. I'll be doing programming (sobs...) but they are sending me for several of their certifications for free.
@TerryChia Have you checked what mode is your disk running in? It could as well be your controller failing or some drivers problems, if it's running in PIO mode (which would cause a lot of stuttering)

@TerryChia in device manager... but depends on your controller really, if it's standard SATA controller, then you could check under its channels IIRC (I'm on RAID so I can't see that... I could check on some older machine tho, if you'll have problems finding it)
@Terry From my experience, passing the SeaTools checks most of the times means that the disk is generally okay. So I think you don't need to dig more in that area. Like you said, it has something to do with your current installation.
I'd imagine it was flagged because you asked a lot of different questions, many of which are highly dependent on your particular setup, some of which are borderline non-security.

@Polymorphin well I mostly use DirectDraw libraries for Win only since they're hardware accelerated and a lot faster than anything else... but I don't know of any OCR solution that would work on top of that. My uses clause for such projects includes: pngimage, JPeg, GDIPOBJ, GDIPAPI, ExtCtrls, Graphics, PngFunctions, GifImage
they work OK with each other,... for OCR, have you tried Envision's Image Library?
