Q: How do Hindus regard the Baphomet?

WilliamI noticed after looking up the Baphomet that it also has the concept of the left hand path and right hand path which are also similar to Hinduism's concept. So I guess my question then becomes. Which came first? Did Hinduism's concept predate the Baphomet?

A: Was Laxman Kumara named after Lakshmana?

SarvabhoumaThere is no mention of naming ceremony of Lakshmana Kumara, son of Duryodhana. So, we can't say that he was named after Lakshmana, son of Dasharatha. BUT, People were named in the past based on their qualities or physical attributes which is why we find many people having same names in the ep...

earth has soil, rivers have water, sun provides heat - using all these, plants grow. without earth, river or sun, plants cannot grow. but what type of plant grows depends completely on its seed. karma is the seed (specific cause), god is earth/river/sun (common cause). Without god, neither good nor bad karma can be done by anyone, but whether you plant good seed or bad seed, and get good fruits or bad fruits, is up to the farmer. — ram Jan 22 at 0:10

@NogShine thanks!

@BhargavRao You are welcome 😊
Btw I found that Lakshmana kumara's sister is lakshmana. Is she known by the name lakshma in Karnataka?
Or did you read it anywhere?

Hmm, I remember reading it as lakshma. Perhaps, I've not remembered it properly. :/

Because there is a difference in calling names in different regions, that could be a reason.

Hmm, I'll try to verify it. Anyway, have a discussion now, I'll be back in the evening. Bye \o

6:39 PM
The story is famous in Telugu states as Shashirekha Parinayam. Duryodhana's daughter name is known as Shashi rekha
