@M'vy i appreciate that the problem with carrying a gun in a restaurant is the fact that it's too obtrusive, not the fact that he brought a gun to a resturant
@Xander Well so far I'm at page ~170 out of 374 in the course guide and they've pretty much only thought us to use tools so far. Yesterday I spent a long time on the buffer overflow section which was a lot of fun and I'm assuming that the deeper and fun stuff is ahead.
@silverpenguin "You will have 90 days from the end of your lab time to schedule and take this most unique and challenging of ethical hacking certification exams. The OSCP is very challenging and not for the faint-of-heart. However, earning it is incredibly rewarding and proves to yourself and others that you have proven practical penetration testing skills." offensive-security.com/information-security-training/…
@silverpenguin get rekt noob
Also, if you look at the bottom of the page, you'll see that the bundles include the certification.
@MarkBuffalo Yes, I can't wait to be done with the course guide to actually attack the lab. I can pentest the lab whenever I want but of course it makes more sense to do it once you've seen the course material.
@Ohnana a suggestion of thinking who to add as a room owner (intended for the whole room to consider) turning into a mod just deciding, sure that's just a mod doing mod stuff, but doesn't mean I agree with it
I think the lesson to be learnt here is that whilst the DMZ is not a democracy, but a modocracy, the mods should pretend it is a democracy to prevent rebellion. Or rebeltiger.
and as a result of me running in a particular brand of runners to keep fit and posting it on social media, said brand has sent me another pair of runners to keep fit in?
can somebody also explain to me how when it was nice and quiet over the holidays I had nobody asking me to remix stuff and now that I'm trying to work out the next album worth of tracks to release I've got a queue?
@Iszi @Simon I don't know how he added himself. I only see the link for other users, who aren't already room owners. I don't see it for myself. So that will remain a mystery. At least until I figure it out.
@Xander Strictly, nobody's a "chat mod". All mods are site mods. (Except SE staff, who are just global mods.) Mod privileges to all of SE chat just come along with that. At least, I don't think there's anyone who's just a chat mod.
@ThomasPornin Oh, no. behead-the-will-of-the-people is another button that's added by @AviD's custom user script. It's right next to mod-power-abuse, for when that just isn't enough.
