@juicifer also afaik combining homophones with other types of wordplay is probably valid but I don't know how common it is. (And I guess it depends on how difficult the clue would be if you added other types of wordplay.) At least here in the chat I haven't seen that much
I've been stuck on this puzzle for over a week now. Not given much information except for this page. I honestly do not even know where to start with this. If it was a book cipher wouldn't the second number be larger than 10? 1-10 except for 9.

i am given a set of 3 numbers 11204 12508 and 13280. these numbers are weighted to come up with a weighted average of 12375. 1000 is added to 12508 and it changes the weighted average to 12498. the weights remain constant. can i find how each individual number is weighted?
