Avi
10:00 PM
@Jafe yes
was it a decent clue?

@Tacoタコス was 41 the lowest?

So far, from the community, yes :)

ok
im gonna beat it
somehow

You got this!

i have only one problem

10:05 PM
@Stevo what's that?

i can't seem to find the site again

It's in the puzzle

opens google history
@Tacoタコス oh

That one lol
You don't want all the redundant code lol

what about the debug?
one
nvm
found it
52 moves
why cant i beat avi

Avi
10:16 PM
wiggles

sighs
waves at Avi hello how are you!

Avi
hi, doing ok
found a 43 but haven't been able to beat the 41

im trying to fit english in: The meeting crashed, so like im waiting until it restarts so i can do some of PSE.
and ive got something due in 2 hours...
55 moves
dang it

Avi
got a 42

:(

Avi
10:25 PM
found another 42

um
found another 55
oh no
i messed up

Avi
POG
40

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
quick find Avi and steal the evidence!

Avi
😰

YES
42
!

Avi
10:30 PM
nooooo
the move tracking is messed up
Move 1: T[2, 2]
Move 2: T[1, 2]
Move 3: T[1, 3]
Move 4: T[1, 4]
Move 5: T[2, 4]
Move 6: T[3, 4]
Move 7: T[3, 2]
Move 8: T[4, 2]
Move 9: T[5, 2]
Move 10: T[6, 2]
Move 11: T[8, 3]
Move 12: T[8, 2]
Move 13: T[8, 1]
Move 14: T[9, 3]
Move 15: T[10, 3]
Move 16: T[5, 5]
Move 17: T[6, 5]
Move 18: T[7, 5]
Move 19: T[7, 6]
Move 20: T[8, 6]
Move 21: T[9, 6]
Move 22: T[10, 6]
Move 23: T[10, 7]
Move 24: T[10, 8]
Move 25: T[10, 9]
Move 26: T[1, 10]
Move 27: T[1, 9]
Move 28: T[1, 8]
Move 29: T[1, 7]
Move 30: T[2, 7]
T[9, 3] is not a valid move at move 14

nooo
42 again

Avi
o wait
how did i get here
nvm
lemme try to click back again
yeah it should be move 14 then move 11
sad
this is not the way

48 moves...
45 moves
41 moves
again 41

Avi
@Tacoタコス got a 40 but the moves didn't track properly
at least, they didn't go out on console properly

again 41...

Avi
10:44 PM
I think the problem is that if you click on the same node twice, it doesn't keep it in history
at least, I see no duplicates in the move list, when there should be?
no, it works
not sure what's wrong then

ok, so in the first answer reviews, stiv has already written a comment about that answer. Do i just press looks okay?

Avi
hmmmm

nope, i pressed edit

Avi
let me see
says queue cleared

first questions queue?

Avi
10:53 PM
apparently moves are printed y, x in the console
that makes things better

or suggested edits queue?

Avi
@Stevo yeah it says cleared for me

i didi it :)
pressed edit
because it was annoying my ocd to see it in one sentence

Avi
the uh
answer should have been deleted
they straight up copied the person above them

ok
flagging time
very low quality

Avi
Other action should have been chosen

@Avi its grayed out for me in the queue...

Avi
ah, unfortunate
maybe should've just flagged instead of reviewing in queue then

yeah, i flagged it now

@Stevo I'd recommend reviewing your rejected edits

11:02 PM
@bobble Thats what i try to do :)
Is there a way to 'takeback' edits?

@Avi Did you use the undo?

Avi
Yeah everything's working properly
It's just that it's formatted T[y, x]
while the answer asks for t[x, y]
which confused me for a bit
I thought they would be the same

@Avi I can fix that lol
Updated

Avi
11:22 PM
uh
the simulator outputs T[y, x]
the question wants T[x, y]
I just did a regex substitution but uh
not that easy to do by hand
might as well just change the sim to output T[x, y]
instead of changing the question

I'll fix the code then :)
No, it's x then y:
console.log('Move ' + (++moveCount) + ': T[' + (x + 1) + ', ' + (y + 1) + ']');

Avi
but uh
maybe they render flipped?
because indexing by x and y like that
doesn't work
but indexing by y and x
does work

Ohhhh I get what you're saying now...
I had to look at it in realtime
x is the row, y is the column; that's why it looks backwards
I can fix that :)
Fixed
It's just a display issue
It's the same line:
console.log('Move ' + (++moveCount) + ': T[' + (y + 1) + ', ' + (x + 1) + ']');
^That outputs column then row
Which is what you'll see now

Avi
:>
alright
don't think I'll be able to get below 40
enjoy ~

11:43 PM
CCCC: Wander away from the main issue, having been misled by Two-Face and Catwoman? (7)
2
@Avi it's good, the def is a bit weird but that's how it often is in &lits

@Jafe I'm not gonna try solving it

@Jafe (d→t)igress

@msh210 that's right!

that was quick...

CCCC: A supply depot in Scotland is sinkin' slowly? (10)
@Stevo "wander away from the main issue" did it for me: there's a very common word for that

11:51 PM
oh
hmmm
a supply depot...
base?
