Those are the best :) There's only one user I think I'd say I have a bit of a beef with, and even then I wouldn't drive by down vote. You have to earn your down votes from me
I have to admit that I recall Deepthinker101 being pretty aggressive on some of my riddles in the comment section in the past, i.e. accusing me of writing bad hints
I recall a legendary post by them where they proposed the answer to a riley riddle something along the lines of "... my prefix is a bad date,..., my whole is a mess" was "Rebellion" or something like that. Things got pretty out of hand in the comments section for multiple reasons
It's really fun, last year I wrote a fun little sci-fi thing and the year before that I wrote an apocalypse horror thing. I never try to hit the word count, I just challenge myself to finish a story
re Deepthinker discussion: I have a vague idea that they're a little more combative than the average user, but I just stopped reading comment sections of theirs a while back.
The best part is the shotgun axe just keeps coming up - another character brings to to SPACE to give it to Mack so he can fight ALIENS with it. Because shotgun axe.
I don't have any other sites to compare to, but because of interactions with Deus & Gareth in this chat I have confidence & trust in the mod team to be good and fair :)
@LukasRotter Eh, nothing quite that sophisticated. I was able to use regex to quickly pull out the relevant pieces to verify I didn't have a typo (which was good because I did have a typo)
On some level it would be pretty funny if you ever met me in person, because like... you look at me and your immediate first impression is "this is the gayest nerd I've ever seen"
I haven't actually um told my IRL friends about my gender confusion ('cept one). It's easier to introduce that to people who haven't known me as cis female for so long.
