IMHO this is the hardest riley riddle out I've seen.
My prefix is salty and smarts
My infix will occupy
My suffix three white triangles upon the blue
For I myself require a council
(you're welcome for the tag hint)
This puzzle is about an athletic, hearty person. Therefore, there are 3 pieces of information hidden accordingly:
For each clue, including trailing remarks such as "(2 words)", remove all numbers, spaces and punctuation. Mark in the grid the letters in the corresponding answers that match the l...
My prefix is my suffix -- hey a circumfix!
My infix is neither dark nor heavy.
My suffix is my prefix -- yay a circumfix!
It's what Riley did to Puzzling SE.

Unlucky tiling: Arrange thirteen right isosceles triangles into a square
Each tiling has only one solution, the smaller lists will be easier but all should be possible by hand, computers allowed.
The five challenges are to arrange $7, 13, 14, 15, 16$ right isosceles triangles of the...
Solve each of the five, then give the final answer.
1 - Yard lumber is famous for the way it lies.
2 - Idyllic children suspected of killing relative (though it may have been unintentional).
3 - Fugly steps with bulbous feet can't steal prince's heart.
4 - Abhorrent thing bribes a hotti...
This question makes absolutely no sense to me and it is driving me crazy that I cannot find a solution. Maybe it is nonsensical, maybe my IQ isn't that high :P. Thanks a lot!
With one I am just one, or more
With two I am no more
With three I am just one, no more
With four I am just one, or more, or one of more I'm sure
With five I am just one, or more, and ultimately either or
With six I am just one, or more, and one or more before
Kana (仮名) are syllabic Japanese scripts, a part of the Japanese writing system contrasted with the logographic Chinese characters known in Japan as kanji (漢字). There are three kana scripts: modern cursive hiragana (ひらがな); modern angular katakana (カタカナ); and the old syllabic use of kanji known as man'yōgana (万葉仮名) that was ancestral to both. Hentaigana (変体仮名, "variant kana") are historical variants of modern standard hiragana. In modern Japanese, hiragana and katakana have directly corresponding character sets (different sets of characters representing the same sounds).
Katakana with a few additions...
とらドラ --> TO RA DO RA
(They're stylized slightly differently, though - for instance, the bottom left of the "to" is angled instead of curved. We were confused about that at first, but then we realized that the logo is stylized like that too.)
So... that puzzle had a crossword, japanese symbols, a perfectly sensible word when you read out a diagonal, and then, a pixelart of an anime character!
I have got my semester exams tomorrow and I am still sitting and admiring that puzzle. That puzzle is out of this world. ffao should do a writeup so that I can award him a bounty for that
@Rubio Solution to your CCCC is TORTURE. We have -O-T-R- (leaders of Off The Record) coming in between T-R-U-E (absolute). I don't think I've seen "stopping" used to mean that before...
My prefix I trail,
My suffix is male,
My infix is home to a wonder.
I make my prefix periodic,
My infix melodic,
My suffix detrimentally blunder.
What am I?

I live in a place that's dark and dry
Scrunched up with all of my friends, I wait.
I wait for the day my elder has died,
To get my chance at the hole.
The hole is a hole, just thin enough for me
But my only prospect of seeing the world
My friends around me are not really frie...
Should Moderators for Puzzling SE have the ability to accept posts that have been inactive for a long time?
I'm pretty sure this should have gone on Meta StackExchange, but I feel that it wouldn't be appropriate for other SE's, but rather only for Puzzling. Puzzling questions have a definite ans...
I am wet and cold. Yet I am strong and bold. Poison to those against me. Sliding along, while keeping things safe from the darkest grasps. I let you live in peace.
What am I?
At time, you see, the chime.
When your brave, you see the time.
Once, you see the difference.
Then, you know its time
I live in the sea.
I hunt on the land.
I kill those, who have no chance.
While you hate me, you love me.
In time, I sweep with my broom....
