Q: On-topic meta posts that solved like puzzles?

risky mysteriesIn the history of Puzzling Stack Exchange Meta, have there ever been on-topic posts that solved like puzzles you would find on the main site? If so, please link them and explain why.

1 hour later…
6:40 AM
hello again
I've been making another puzzle that whut. Took a month or two.
It took many forms and wound up with a name.
"The joy of hexasection"
I went through pentasex, trisex quadri sex

@humn cute

hello again!

@humn hello again

Hexasex beat all.
And now you have a leg up, @msh210

@humn except that it's jinxed

6:48 AM
I don't mind. I want my most difficult puzzles to be solved.
I already posed a few of the easiest. And they took some time to solve.
The longer i take the more difficult.
And they have NOT been solved.
Correct me if i'm @humn.

@humn okay…

I don't know what to do. I want to give clues but they are built into the puzzles.

@humn You do mind.

And you have solved toughies. Thank you.

@humn I hope you'll live for many years yet. No rush to see them solved.
@humn not I!

6:55 AM
You solved one or two of mine. While solving others of others.
It's a pleasure to have a master solver dig in.
And it's a pleasure to make a puzzle over months. By that time it is multiple puzzles.

@humn yeah… like Deus for example. I'm very far from being a master solver. Most of my PSE answers were to the easiest of puzzles.

Don't be humble. Please. You have solved puzzles that puzzled me.
High praise.
And thank you for comparison to Deus.
Take a bow.
Here:
hang on, if you don't mid, it will be worthwhile
That's a taste.

@humn looks like a bunch of colored pencils. Pencils in the geometric sense. Dunno what it is, but at the very least it's pretty.

Yeh. I'm a mathematical artist.
As are you. I tried to outsmart you once.
I'm also clever with words. Deusovi knows that, as does Rand Al'Rhytm.

@humn oh?

7:10 AM
You heard me. Yeah, Rand Al'That loves language as much as mathematics.
And he's a badass to boot.
He has solved as many as Deusovi. And i'm not even sure she's a he.
Not even sure i am!
And it don't matter.

It's been real, but I'm afraid I must dash. Be well.

Take care.
Who is lurking?
@AncientSwordRage and @GarethMcCaughan , i'm lurking too.
I can unlurk.
OK, just try and solve my next puz. Took a month to make. While at it give a shot at diced sharkfin. Also took a month. With love.

2 hours later…
9:25 AM
Okay, i can't resist:

9:35 AM
Anyone who can solve this doesn't need the credit.

2 hours later…
11:52 AM
Whut's better than posing a puzzle? Making a solution. Here are some.
I deleted others and should have these as well.
Yet there are two more hexasects in the hopper. No solution alike.
My computator is crapping out. See ya.

2 hours later…
2:21 PM
my c4 theory is that the answer is an album or single dropped by fats domino (or maybe another musician known as the "fat man"), but haven't found anything suitable so far

@juicifer this one is a real puzzler
@Jafe I keep thinking it's 'fat man' and s-drop is a term for dropping s from words...
De-ssing would fit just that and nothing else

2:37 PM
workers can be ANTS, so if kills ends in S it'd be something like xxSLANTS

3:02 PM
Yup I've been working from the ANTS assumption, but not thought of getting the S from KILLS that way

also, holy cow fats domino recorded a lot of music
i stopped counting at 50 albums (counting studio and live but not compilations)

If drop is ALBUM and you kill (remove) L you'd have abumants...
I'm sure earlier I got ambulants

a fat is a LIPID, man can be M, kill the L for 50 and you get MS. IPID who is very disappointed that the result does not mean anything like workers

3:55 PM
Is there a connection between FAT=OIL and WORKERS=TOILERS that I'm missing?
Toilers is too short by itself

don't see it...
in fact i can't see workers being the def because you'd want a word ending in S yet the last word of the wp is "fifty"

> Among horse-race gamblers, the $50 bill is called a "frog" and is considered unlucky. It is sometimes referred to as a "Grant".
That's grant after Ulysses S Grant....

4:15 PM
I'm stuck on the answer being FALSTAFF (Fat Man) with L+STAFF but I can't see how 'drop kills'=FA unless 'drop' means reverse and A.F. means 'kills' somehow...

4:27 PM
👀
(translation: one of you is very close)

@juicifer FAL(-L)+S+TAFF but I can't get taff from anywhere

drop is FALL, kill the L for fifty, STAFF for workers?

jafe's got it

that was a steal if i've ever seen one

yeah haha

4:35 PM
Nice work

CCCC: "Insensitive?" Please elaborate (6)

5:30 PM
@Jafe NUMB-ER/NUMBER DDEF?

5:42 PM
Admittedly they're kind of loose for double definitions

6:14 PM
@Jafe Oof so I was almost there then! Glad you could finish it off :)
@Jafe ASLEEP (Insensitive) = PLEASE*

Q: simplest matchstick question?

MarziehBy moving only 1 matchstick make the equation correct ( not equal and > and < are not allowed).

1 hour later…
Avi
8:27 PM
maybe i should change my name to matchstick god
even though i'm nowhere near that good hehe

9:07 PM
@Stiv that's right

1 hour later…
10:09 PM
@Avi oh?

10:24 PM
@Jafe Cool. I'll continue the chain in the morning when I am not full of cider... Otherwise this next CCCC might be totally nonsensical...

Avi
10:39 PM
@AncientSwordRage then i can literally be on fire 😅
Place for a bed
Go to a dog
Together they can
Grow on a log
MUSH + ROOM
