@juicifer a Web search reveals a game called "No Man's Sky - CeX". I think. (Further investigation seems to reveal that it's only called "No Man's Sky". Maybe the "CeX" is a specific version of it, or something?) And people seem to call it "NMS". So that could work. S C_ in N Mex

6:14 AM
@msh210 not what I was going for

6:39 AM
@juicifer yeah, I suspected as much

6:59 AM
CeX hehe

@TakingNotes I don't get the joke

CeX is a UK games buy-and-swap shop which is probably where your No Man's Sky version comes from...

Ohhhh apparently CeX is a site that sells video games. :facepalm:

...and also people pronounce it like sex.

7:31 AM
Far Cry is a video game, but aside from the C which is a part of "California" it's not a good candidate for the answer

8:01 AM
@juicifer NBA JAM = BAJA in NM

8:17 AM
Ahh, nice

quantrader23You are given two ropes that when lit burn in one hour. Which one of the following time periods CANNOT be measured with your ropes? a) 50 min b) 30 min c) 25 min d) 35 min. I know 30 minutes is definitely possible as we could burn the rope at both ends.

I like "shortcut?" cluing MINUTE STEAK, but I don't see how the wordplay would work at all.

7:55 PM
PA+N/A+MA+CAN+A+L is definitely a shortcut!

Ah, nice.

8:57 PM
@Jafe That it is!

CCCC: Cuban currency (4)

There's a cryptocurrency called Metahero, abbreviated HERO. And a Cuban is a type of hero (sandwich). I strongly suspect this is not the intended solution.

9:13 PM
Oh, it's Mark ddef

Q: Another Holiday Rebus

Mohit GoreWhat's the meaning of this rebus? Another very good message to share. Slightly harder this time!

10:07 PM
jesus is clearly "a buddha", which sounds like Abu Dha(bi), a heavily muslim city... the bi is missing because the UAE bans all things LGBT

you forgot to add #DefinitelyCorrectC4Solutions
