Q: Trails on a grid filled with tetrominoes

Vassilis ParassidisLets have a 10x10 GRID with 12 empty bases. The rest of the grid is filled with tetrominoes. With red color are marked the 5 regular tetrominoes and with green color the 2 reflections. Each base is marked with an orange color. The following conditions apply: The trail has to be continuous. The t...

@Sphinx dear... goodness... they've been around for a while, they should know that ain't a riddle

no it isn't
how wrong is it to use "riddle" as a generic term for puzzles? outside of PSE, i mean
i know i used to do it before joining here but as a non-native that of course doesn't mean much
merriam-webster's definition is "a mystifying, misleading, or puzzling question posed as a problem to be solved or guessed", which seems a lot broader than ours ("a riddle gives indirect clues about an unnamed object or concept to be identified")

"Riddle" is a fairly accepted word for "puzzle", in the sense you quoted. (So not grid-deductions or crosswords) For obvious reasons, a tag that means "puzzle" would be a terrible idea here. So we semi-artificially restricted it to things similar to what would normally be denoted as a "rhyme riddle" (though non-rhyming stuff is allowed here) or, and I've seen this less, a "poem riddle".

makes sense

First def in OED is "A question or statement intentionally phrased to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer or meaning, frequently used as a game or pastime; an enigma; a conundrum." which may not be exactly the PSE tag meaning but is definitely in the same vicinity.

Q: Simulating a biased coin with an unbiased one

The JokesterMy friend sent me an email this time. I had only just woken up, and was very sleepy (my head actually dipped down many times, but that helped me with this new problem.) @RajorshiKoyal You have been asked, multiple times, to stop doing this.

I would like to discuss.Ok I am deleting this

We know that you would like to discuss. TSL does not exist solely to provide you with what you would like. It is a place used by dozens of people. Would you walk into a library and start talking loudly about this thing you want help with?

^

I want some assistance about the same if somebod would kindly turn up it would be great for me.

You've posted the same problem in three other rooms. Discuss it somewhere else.

Ok:-)

@RajorshiKoyal I think you are failing to understand something very important. What you get to do here is not determined solely by what you want. If this is something you are unable to understand -- if no amount of being told that you shouldn't do what you're doing will stop you, when you want something -- if you think the rules don't apply to you when you want something -- then we will have to take appropriate action.

ok I will stop.

Good. Make sure you do.
(Because I'm pretty sure you've said things like that before, and then have stopped stopping the next time you want to post something.)

...pretty sure you've also been asked to stop inviting random people to rooms to ask them those questions, as well.
