Anyone who's not already on a team want to join me in galactic puzzle hunt? I'll probably be a big hinderance/of no help, so if you're actually aiming to win, teaming with me probably isn't the brightest idea... but if you just wanna chill and solve a couple puzzles I'm down. Already made a team and everything ;)

This 'answer' is mostly just a repost of the question. If you have a solution to the riddle, please explain how it fits each line of the original post, instead of just copying and pasting the original riddle. Also, please use spoilertags (>! syntax) to hide your answer. — Rand al'Thor 46 secs ago
How the hell did that 'answer' get 2 upvotes? :-/

@GarethMcCaughan tantalum ... tlaco ... titanium - not alphabetical, in your 23
also I like how you used eigenvalue and I used eigenvector, and el-guest just used "eight". similarly your itemize/iterative, my iterate, and el-guest's "it". i literally didn't even contemplate "it". (but did eigenvector for fun. similarly jackanapes.) I also find it funny we both used eigenv* and iterate* but I hadn't read your answers before making mine, just looked at the unspoilered text seeing if someone had done antidisestablishmentarianism yet hehe
