Q: When I get angry, you buy me silver or gold

Rebecca J. StonesSince my last riddle went as well as I could have hoped, here's another: When I get angry, you buy me silver or gold. You don't usually see this, but my place is twofold. You often help me, but I can only cause pain. I'm always destroying things, again and again. You'll lo...

Q: Spidoku - Fill in the rest?

KrishnaEach of the eight segments of the spiderweb should be filled with a different number from 1 to 8, in such a way that every ring also contains a different number from 1 to 8. Some numbers are already in place. Can you fill in the rest?

@Avi You obviously put a lot of thought and effort in here but I’m not sure this puzzle was all that accessible, even with the hints, to someone not “in your head”. Did you have someone to test-solve this? That’s usually a great way to tell what pieces your solvers are completely missing, so you can make sure the puzzle provides enough information that a would-be solver has a meaningful chance of finding a path forward.

4:31 AM
Yeah, that was my concern too. I don't see how a solver would get the intended interpretations from the clues (both in the puzzle and in the hints). I can see how you might make the clues from what needs to be done, but solvers have to go the other way, which seems much less doable if you don't already know the answer.

@Rubio Yes, that’s true - there should have been a clearer way forwards beyond the initial step. In any case, what’s done is done, and hopefully newer puzzles will be better,

Hello guys. I have a question. How is it that I got a legendary badge recently when I haven't been active for months?
Has there been some changes to the site?

7:29 AM
There was recently a reputation boost, applied retroactively.
(Question upvotes now earn +10.)
That must have been enough to give you the badge
@PiIsNot3 Getting an ambiguity on the last word of your recent puzzle, I think. (I've figured out the connection, currently trying to figure out extraction.)
(Well, I think I've figured out the connection, but I'm having trouble seeing how 64A fits.)

@Deusovi I just double checked myself to make sure. If you have the right connection, 64A shouldn't be too difficult to find

ah just got it
took me a bit to find
and got the final answer

@Deusovi Nice, classic Deusovi quick solve :)

Q: Creative Logic IQ Test

ErinFrom random WA group, this task has only one strict logical answer. Exact source unknown. Nobody seem to be able to figure out solid rules. (Have a couple more tasks if anyone is interested.)

@Randal'Thor That doesn't necessarily imply anything, per se. I mean, look at me, for instance.

Q: Two doors, two guards, and two keys

VepirA classic variation of this problem is well known on the site. I pose the following (part one of two): You find yourself in a cryptic room with two guards, each guarding a door and carrying a key. One always speaks the truth (T) and holds the key to the freedom door (F). The other one...
