Q: Could there be some logic in this mystical gibberish?

James JensenMy great uncle Sean passed away in '94 after a long battle with illness. Not many people came to his funeral; he was 105 when he died, and had outlived all of his friends and colleagues. I'm told he was once a respected mathematician, but had since faded into obscurity. Even his most important...

MichkCan someone identify this sound? This is the sound. http://iono.fm/e/543434 Clues that have been given: Item that has been repurposed. It's all in the rage these days. Some people don't mind leaving it open but some prefer to cover it maybe because it's safer that way.

Q: I Have To Be With Them!

Zani XuIt's almost time for another year of school! But before school starts, Principal Little needs to form classes. Because there are so many people in a class, the parents are always complaining, asking why the Principal could not just split the classes up to include another class. Being ignorant, th...

@ffao Would you have any time to help me with troubleshooting my local copy of Shiro?

@GentlePurpleRain yes

I'm getting this error when it tries to log in:

the instructions seem to be a bit more confusing than I expected :/

It's not in Shiro's code, but in the Chat API. But I assume something's not being passed correctly?
I haven't made any changes to the code.

it looks more like your login failed?
it's trying to go to your user page and retrieve your ID

9:44 PM
Well, I can log in with the same credentials via the actual website.

but instead of going to the user page, stack exchange is sending you to the login page instead

Hmmm...

SE recently overhauled the login system

sounds weird that it would work for me though if that were the reason

Has Shiro logged out?

9:47 PM
I restarted the bot this week, I think this would cause it to log out

Maybe not. My web login is persistent. I can't remember the last time I logged in/out.
Well, I have to go now (bad timing). But if you come up with any ideas, let me know.
It's even helpful to know that it's not logging in. That wasn't evident to me from the error.

looks like Mith might be right after all
I'm hoping the framework gets updated; I am not looking forward to rewriting the whole login part by myself

It's using the Python ChatExchange?

yes

I'll check with people who have a vested interest in updating it
