@stacksfiller Calling in answers DUNE, SWAN, SIMPSONS, and BOB. (And FLOSSED?)

DUNE, SWAN, and SIMPSONS are all right subanswers
— BOB and FLOSSED aren’t tho...

(I also appear to be getting GUEWE for one section, but I assume that's incorrect.)
Oh, and CANINES.

5:22 AM
GUEWE is right!
jk not really
hm wonder how you got that 🤔

it didn't work

CANINES as it so happens isnt the answer for that one

hm? that was my bad attempt to get GUEWE
oh
hm

no i mean
its not an answer for anything

yeah, I get what you meant now
well, I'm not sure what to do with that - maybe it relates to what I thought was the previous section...
@stacksfiller Calling in URIC

5:30 AM
URIC is right :)

that was amazing
at least, I assume that was highly constrained -- I don't speak a word of Mandarin
@stacksfiller CHAP?

CHAP's not right

aw
(that's what I was trying)

wait a second 🤔
let me look at stuff i'll get back to you

5:55 AM
(taking a break to get dinner)

6:24 AM
@stacksfiller "crags" doesn't happen to be an answer, does it?

it does not...

alright didn't think so
I figured "🎌➡️🐷" might be intended as "CROSSED FLAGS, to a pig", obliquely cluing pig latin?

Q: Find an infinite set of formula, take any $2$ they are SAT, take any $3$ they are UNSAT

athinFind an infinite set of (propositional logic) formula, $S$, which satisfies: If you take any $2$ elements from $S$, they are satisfiable. If you take any $3$ elements from $S$, they are unsatisfiable. As an illustration, a finite set of formula $S' = \{a, b \land c, a \implies \neg b\}$ sat...

StefanYou are trapped in a room. In front of you, there is a table on which there is an infinite number of stacks of cards each containing an infinite number of black or white cards. feel kinda stuck on A Puzzle In 280 Characters - progress posted

Deusovi stumped? We're doomed...

10:01 AM
@Deusovi looks like 陸 is Japanese for 6; the languages are in alphabetical order and the numbers are 1-6
sorting by numbers and then indexing gives KARATE

it looks like letters overlaid to make "ᥞb∔đ₠㏊ध돼" are GLITCHES and NOTDEATH

ah, both of those make sense - I considered sorting and indexing separately, but not both

@Deusovi for the eagle, I also tried without success to move the letters down two spaces on the keyboard, keeping shift-press as capitals

oh, nice

sorry, without success

10:10 AM
...oh
@stacksfiller are LIFE and/or GLITCHES correct?
(for whenever he gets back on)

could there be some interpretation of what "par" means for below par, other than just, you know, the value of the letter?

GLITCHES might be referring to the "glitchy" overlay of text, so that the answer is just LIFE?

it seems like a word that has a lot of wordplay potential

ah, makes sense, Volatility

yes, that sounds good
it already seems ridiculously constrained to make without needing a two-word clue...

10:18 AM
with the first one, you get a word if you continue the pattern

I'm not sure what the pattern is
oh wait, maybe?
yeah, spells CAVE

yup that's what i got!

same!
@stacksfiller calling in AFOOT and MARIO?

I'm still not convinced by MARIO

is calling the image a plumber too much a stretch you think?

10:32 AM
a bit? seems more like a mechanic than anything. plus, "princess peach" is her full name and title, and a frequent way of referring to the character; "plumber mario" is not

eh, i'd call both princess and plumber as their professions

sure, but i'm more referring to the phrase made by joining the two words. "princess peach" is common; "plumber mario" is not

fix it FELIX? pulling at straws
dunno whether the alliteration is relevant

oh, maybe?
the "sxrtni" ones look annoyingly familiar

they looks a lot like letters that appear in numbers, like sixteen
i'm trying to figure out the rebus using that cherry is tacked on and trying to make the other bit fit
archery? treachery? hatchery?
is TREAT - T (TEA) stretching it too much?

10:45 AM
yeah probably?

Q: Finding both fake coins in a set of $5$

user591814There are $5$ rupees on Arnav's table. He knows that exactly $2$ of the rupees are counterfeit. One of these $2$ coins is lighter than a normal (non-counterfeit) rupee, and one of these $2$ coins is heavier than a normal rupee. Arnav conveniently has a balance scale next to him, and he would like...

@Deusovi - I worked out part of the 280, should I just edit directly into yours? (also, surely the "builder" is actually a plumber, and thus Mario)

if you say what subanswer you worked out i'll tell you if its right

I'm certain it's right. Too clean not to be. (the BXFIPF one)

ah yea youre definitely going to be right then
secretly the confirming is more for me then you cause i want to know what puzzles are solved

:) I can understand that
I'll see if I can get any others to make it worth a partial answer, otherwise I'll just give it to deus when he's back around
