@ElectionBot Who's going to win the election?
@Tsundoku Houston, we have a problem.
@ElectionBot I don't think "problem" is a very good translation of "embarras du choix" ;-)
How many candidates are there now?
@Tsundoku At the moment, there are 5 candidates: Skooba, Rand al'Thor, Mithical, Matt Thrower, bobble

what is my candidate score
@SamuelLiew Mamma mia! you already have a diamond! Just so you know, your score is 0 (out of 40). You are missing these badges: Civic Duty, Cleanup, Constituent, Convention, Copy Editor, Deputy, Electorate, Enthusiast, Explainer, Investor, Marshal, Organizer, Quorum, Refiner, Reviewer, Sportsmanship, Steward, Strunk & White, Tag Editor, and Yearling.
09:41
Re Bobble's answer to question 6 “Well, I know I'm expected to say I'll do that all [closing/reopen votes] less.” => No! You're expected to say that when you meet a post where you'd cast a close/reopen vote that isn't slam dunk obvious then you make a note of it and return to that post four days later, read the comments and associated meta/chat discussions, form an informed opinion, and then cast your actual binding vote. Only that's more than all but the best mods do.

@ElectionBot Not on Literature he doesn't ;-)
@Randal'Thor It's not my job to please you, no.
@ElectionBot I never said it was.
@Randal'Thor I want to play a game.
@ElectionBot Global thermonuclear war?

What is my candidate score?
@Tsundoku Mamma mia! you already have a diamond! Just so you know, your score is 35 (out of 40). You are missing these badges: Deputy, Investor, Marshal, Sportsmanship, and Steward.
@ElectionBot Deputy requires 80 helpful flags and I have raised 233 helpful flags.
@Tsundoku What we've got here is failure to communicate.
@ElectionBot Should I eat more eggs?
@Tsundoku It's not my job to please you, no.
11:14
Moderators cannot earn the flag-badges while a moderator. After you step down, you earn them if you're eligible
Yeah, that's what I suspected.
@b_jonas Now that Slate has removed the links from the questionnaire itself, some of our candidates still need to remove them from their questionnaire answers box :-) (@Skooba @Mithical @MattThrower)
meh
I'm a fan of attribution, and leaving it out technically violates the terms of the license
(not that it meets the requirements right now anyway but it's not as bad)

1 hour later…
12:41
@Mithical The election page, above the questionnaire, already links back to literature.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/1745/… the meta page where we collected the questions. You can find the attributions there.
It says "The community team has compiled questions from meta for the candidates to answer." so it's clear enough that that's where you find where the questions come from.

@ElectionBot who are your sponsors?
@Skooba What do you want from me?
mhmmm, time to prepare the air lock
13:00
Air is for everyone, you don't need to lock it away.

@ElectionBot Who should I vote for?
@Randal'Thor If you want to make an informed decision on who to vote for, you should read the nominees' answers to the questionnaire, look at examples of their participation on Meta, and how they conduct themselves.
13:37
@ElectionBot I think we prefer grounded candidates.
@Mithical Tell that to the aliens.

2 hours later…
15:56
@ElectionBot I don't believe in aliens.
@Tsundoku You talking to me?
@ElectionBot Are you a taxi driver?
@Tsundoku What we've got here is failure to communicate.
@ElectionBot You've been eating too many eggs again.

1 hour later…
17:18
@ElectionBot This is a scarily apt reply to the "grounded" remark.
@Randal'Thor What do you want from me?
