A quick message from my sponsors: The election is in the nomination phase, and currently there are 4 candidates. I can answer frequently-asked questions about elections (type @ElectionBot help for more info).
@SamuelLiew Mamma mia! you already have a diamond! Just so you know, your score is 0 (out of 40). You are missing these badges: Civic Duty, Cleanup, Constituent, Convention, Copy Editor, Deputy, Electorate, Enthusiast, Explainer, Investor, Marshal, Organizer, Quorum, Refiner, Reviewer, Sportsmanship, Steward, Strunk & White, Tag Editor, and Yearling.
Re Bobble's answer to question 6 “Well, I know I'm expected to say I'll do that all [closing/reopen votes] less.” => No! You're expected to say that when you meet a post where you'd cast a close/reopen vote that isn't slam dunk obvious then you make a note of it and return to that post four days later, read the comments and associated meta/chat discussions, form an informed opinion, and then cast your actual binding vote. Only that's more than all but the best mods do.
@Tsundoku Mamma mia! you already have a diamond! Just so you know, your score is 35 (out of 40). You are missing these badges: Deputy, Investor, Marshal, Sportsmanship, and Steward.
@b_jonas Now that Slate has removed the links from the questionnaire itself, some of our candidates still need to remove them from their questionnaire answers box :-) (@Skooba @Mithical @MattThrower)
@Mithical The election page, above the questionnaire, already links back to literature.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/1745/… the meta page where we collected the questions. You can find the attributions there.
It says "The community team has compiled questions from meta for the candidates to answer." so it's clear enough that that's where you find where the questions come from.
Welcome to the election chat room! The election is in the nomination phase, and currently there are 5 candidates. I can answer common questions about elections (type @ElectionBot help for more info).
Election FAQs I can answer (more in https://github.com/samliew/se-electionbot#readme): - What is an election - How to nominate myself - How to vote - Who should I vote for - How is candidate score calculated - What is my candidate score - What are the mod/participation/editor badges - What is the election status - When is the next phase - How many are eligible to vote - Who are the candidates - Who are the current mods - What do moderators do - What is Single Transferable Vote (STV)
@Randal'Thor If you want to make an informed decision on who to vote for, you should read the nominees' answers to the questionnaire, look at examples of their participation on Meta, and how they conduct themselves.
