I don't know who to nominate, but I am a little concerned that there are only two candidates, so I hope there are some more nominations... — Sam Hopkins 15 hours ago
@SamHopkins If you want to nominate someone, a good first guess is to look at the results of the previous election and consider the runner-ups. — Joonas Ilmavirta 15 hours ago

A: Nominating other community members

Alec RheaNoah Schweber would make an excellent MO moderator. He is a top-notch mathematician who regularly contributes to the site, his interactions with other users are consistently helpful and patient, and he has a good understanding of the impartial space between friendliness and dismissiveness that co...

Sorry, my candidacy was withdrawn even though I had very great intentions and enthusiasm to serve this respectable site. I was removed for the reason that in the comments on my candidacy post.
I answered objectively about the reason for not accepting the female gender to this site, as I explained that this sex is not accepted to this site because the site is very Strict and women can not tolerate discouraging comments
so I received accusations that I insulted this gender and violated the laws, but I agreed with them, so I deleted my comments, which I should not delete because they are my opinion on this, based on psychological analyzes of women and the method that should be used to attract this gender to the site
and try to develop the site intelligently, but Unfortunately, my candidacy was withdrawn despite the enthusiasm I had to serve this site. Frankly, it is not fair to behave in such a manner that I answer a question raised by the site and then be deleted.
I hope the moderation of MO will review this matter again and re-nominate me.
From the Stack Exchange Code of Conduct, "We don’t tolerate any language likely to offend or alienate people based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion…". An opinion such as "women can not tolerate discouraging comments" clearly falls under language that is likely to offend based on gender, at the very least. It is reasonable and expected that nominations from candidates with a stance that seems to violate even the Code of Conduct may be removed.
While diversity of opinion is a strength for any moderation team, that should not mean that "anything goes" in a nomination post. Of course, I'm not a moderator anywhere on SE, these are my observations as a regular user.
That is quite simply impossible. Regular users cannot delete other users' comments or nominations. A strong moderation action such as that can only taken by the site's moderation team or someone even above them.
It is much better to not try to spread false accusations such as these about matters that one does not (and can not) know about.
Quite frankly, even the above accusatory comments about hatred and racism are also in clear violation of the SE CoC.

Bouzari, I cannot delete anyone’s comments or nominations but my own.
@TheAmplitwist Based on the driving law of this site, I see that I did not violate it. It is enough that I explained simply and seriously why the opposite sex did not come to this site. Does this logical answer violate the driving law here? I think no, as long as I violated all forms of discrimination and did not insult anyone who belongs to this site. Our goal One is to upgrade and develop the site in all aspects
@BouzariAbdelkader Your comments were deleted my moderation, as explained to you in your suspension. I understand that your are frustrated, but making wild accusations against others is not an appropriate response.
Something tells me you are not quite clear about how things work on SE. I cannot spend endless time on this, so I am exiting this conversation. But read what I wrote above once more. Please stop accusing other nominees of actions that they did not and cannot take. Please stop airing any and all opinions on this site without regard for the CoC, let alone the social impression you are making.
sigh I did not expect that this chat room would come alive only for this… Sorry for the trouble you have to go through @Carl and @Tim. I'll really be leaving now.
@TimCampion you are withdrawn my nomination without any convincing reason however i respected all users and members and i respected all gender ? Did you see that this behavior indicate some justice ?
@zeraouliarafik If you'd like to discuss this further, I suggest you raise a question on meta. I think this chat platform is not ideally suited to that sort of discussion.

@TheAmplitwist Thank you! Please keep up the good work here (hopefully with slightlyore topics in the future…)
Slightly more relevant* topics.
@TimCampion ok thank you , am going to do that
I am quite concerned about the small (to put it mildly) pool of candidates at the moment. I hope all the readers (brought here by the activity) keep possible nominations in mind, including yourselves, and encourage others to do so too.
(Although saying this to the current list of people in the room is preaching to the choir, I suppose!)
I'm sorry to interfere, but... The election is in the nomination phase, and currently there is 1 candidate. I can answer common questions about elections (type @ElectionBot help for more info).
