@SamuelLiew hey - I forgot to make this room for the election earlier. Feel free to move or add the election bot here. Sorry!

@ElectionBot How many moderator positions in this election?
@MartinSleziak To be honest, my love, I couldn't care less.
@ElectionBot How many positions are there?
@MartinSleziak 1 mod is elected
10:51
@ElectionBot Wow, that's some sass, haha. Reminds me of the famous line from Gone with the Wind, but maybe there's some other cultural reference I'm missing.

@TheAmplitwist you are correct, that response is a reference, and you got it right :)
@ElectionBot How many users visited the election page?
@MartinSleziak Based on the number of Caucus badges awarded, 491 users visited 3rd MathOverflow election and had enough reputation (150) to vote so far.
I am not sure when was the last time that MO had three posts on meta at the same time. Maybe during the previous election?

It's down to two now: meta.mathoverflow.net/posts/5440/revisions - probably it will take a bit until the community bulletin gets updated.

Q: Nominating other community members

Alec Rhea Is there no mechanism to suggest other community members for nomination? If I remember correctly, last election there was some mechanism in place to suggest community members other than ourselves who we thought had the right stuff for moderation. I can't seem to find any appropriate place to do...

There was nothing official. It was merely a discussion on meta. — Asaf Karagila ♦ 43 mins ago
@AsafKaragila Ah, thank you; I'll edit accordingly. — Alec Rhea 38 mins ago
Perhaps it is worth mentioning that similar posts were made in 2021 and in 2013. — Martin Sleziak 14 mins ago

@TheAmplitwist This is now a Hot Meta Post, which is a good thing, I suppose :)
