When I started teaching online, I was searching for something to record things I say into microphone things that I show (or write) on my screen.
I ended up using ffmpeg - I am satisfied with it.
Now I learned that Windows comes with Xbox Game Bar, which can record the screen. (Although it probably has a lot of limitations.)
I see that this software was mentioned in some posts on this site.
There are more posts about ffmpeg, so I guess it is more popular.
