@Izzy hi
i have a feedback
just post it here
someone will read it and comment.
1) usually i found that after posting a question(by any user) the first comment seen/posted by reviewer/reader is "which OS-Operating System/Plateform you are talking about?" I have seen such a comment frequently in many questions. Can Stackoverflow exchange network think of how to get rid of this? i.e. some kind of checkbox wherein every user must
have to select (from scroll down menu) the OS/plateform prior to post a question. I guess this would be convenient for users as well as in interest of stackexchange
@Seth
As i dont have much experience with stackoverflow, similarly other frequently found comments can be resolved if someone from Stackexchange/overflow developer think in that direction., isnt it?
& i am not wrong/misunderstood, there is some rule related to plateform clarify by stackexchange/overflow site imposed for any question posting.
i want to request to developers to think in the direction of automating the rules via some kind of logic/code (whichever are possible), so that people/users has less restriction in posting a question as well as website can get question in the format as required.
By logic/code, i think many things are possible. Only issue could be compromise of brandwidth/speed etc.. & that is of course governed/decided by developers.

@jackopen It's possible (meta has required tags) but I've never known a main site to do it.. And not all questions are OS specific.
we can put "Not applicable" in scrolldown menu.
also
@jackopen Now you're asking SE to make a bunch of changes to fix one little problem on one little site.. Probably not going to happen ;)
little but frequent
once implemented everyone get relaxed.
small small problem once resolved, makes site beautiful i think so
I really don't think it is a big enough issue for SE to develop.
but efforts are small to develop it. isnt it?
also
"SE" is wellknown about its type of quality question.
& i think this feature could format question more beautiful , quality point of view.
& i am not talking about only type of plateform. I also urge to see other frequent issues which users are breaking rules. & site developers should think in the direction of resolving such issues.
by some kind of logic.
whenever/wherever possible (with less efforts)
2) Is it possible to ask a question Anonymously on SE site?(of course after registering to SE site), If not, cant it be useful feature?
03:59
My point is it isn't worth the effort by SE. They have a lot of more important issues they have to address every day.
you can post on meta if you want.
@jackopen you can, most sites allow unregistered users to ask questions, all you need is an email. You can also ask for your question to be "disassociated" from your account which just shows it as "anon".
sorry i have no trust on my format/posting/english/representation, so i am not goign to post anything. hence discussing/chatting.
ah
2) ok, thanks. closed.

Hi, any one fond of photography/editing

Q: Displaying subject age instead of capture date in photos

jackopenI am creating a photo album for my puppy. Usually a date is recorded when a photo is taken. Check this link out. I want to make a photo album in such a way that each photo carries the age of puppy (i.e. 3 months old, 5 months 4 days, 1 year, etc...), instead of the date when the photo was taken....

can someone help me how to resolve this issue?
i dont think exiftool alone can work in this case.

@Gilles I was actually extremely polite, somewhat ashamed to be asking, and gave them very opportunity to say no
there's no need to continue hating on me, especially when you're unaware of the facts

OMG. This site is run by dogs and funghi ...
Eek!
15:17
@3ventic Think positively: Dogs are man's best friend, and if they bring something with "nice effects" along, that explains a lot... #D
15:59
@Gilles reci... o0 OMG... that gets even better...
Ah, now I get the connection: with prominent adnate gills :D
@Izzy yup. I originally thought of fish gills, but the pictures were yucky
16:16
@Gilles LOL
What about some B5... oh, I see. That was a girl with gills, might not be a good match for your avatar ;)

@VicAche Uh?
Oh, hi @Seth :)
Btw: If anyone here is using Android, and wants to "beta-test" my new "search-apps-by-permission" (via web browser), feel free to give me a "ping" ;) I've just loaded it to my web server, but it's not yet "publicly linked"...
@Izzy yo :)
21:21
I hate those hick-ups... every 30..60min I lose my connection currently...
@Seth "yo = hi" or "yo = volunteer"? ;)
hi ;)
Never heard it to mean "volunteer"..
@Seth kk, was just kidding :)
:)
"hi" = "honestly interested", ya know? #D
"yo" = "yes, obviously" (before you ask) XD
(alternatively: "yes, ofcourse")
