EMC won't sell me eMLC SSD's for our VNX

They say that you can only use those disks with VNX2

it's the same disk enclosure, the same SAS interface and lanes..

You can't buy disk enclosures without giving them a serial # of your system, because it ties into the support contract

and having a 4 hour SLA is why we're paying EMC for storage, instead of DIY :(
