As we started helping the driver out, we were feeling pretty heroic when another car pulls up and out steps a real life incarnation of Ace Rimmer. He opens his back door, pulls on a Fleece and when he turns round it's got, in huge print, "DOCTOR - AIR AMBULANCE".
@tombull89 No, they'd rolled it a couple of times. It was a 306 and held up extremely well though - lots of broken glass and shit everywhere, but no cabin intrusion. Rest of the car, was of course, fucked.
No idea how they did it - they claimed that they thought they'd been nudged but Police weren't that interested. No witnesses, they weren't 100% sure and no CCTV etc so I guess no place to go with that
@tombull89 They don't, but they do go fairly easily in the right circumstances. I suspect they lost control for some reason and yanked too harshly to correct at high speeds. Once you're sideways at 60+ it's probably going to go
@FalconMomot Well, it's not really forensics as such to establish if an accident is a single vehicle crash or not.
@FalconMomot Yeah, SUV's and the like are pretty bad though I suppose it'll only take you so far. My favourite crashes are seeing people in BMWs (It's normally a BMW) facing the wrong way, unscathed, chatting to a Police Traffic Officer.
@Dan one was the result of a lorry intruding into my lane on an icy highway at night... another was the result of someone staying immediately abreast of me while I was trying to merge and not budging, forcing me off the road

@Dan the guy literally managed to stick with me through several variations in speed from the moment the merge started until the lane ended in a barrier. I had to deliberately go into the ditch to avoid hitting a concrete berm at about 80.
@tombull89 The lights on the dash won't be directly related to the real lights, so I guess that explains it to a degree. Whatever melted will probably have been caused by a short so you may have some fuses out though

Jesus, really, and that's the taught practice? Over here you should be matching your speed and traffic flow to merge. The cars on the main highway always have priority, though they SHOULD be leaving room too.
Either way, ultimately, a merge is a "Give Way" over here and if there's no room you stop. You never go onto the shoulder

But all it does is encourage people to lie all of the time. My friend had someone turn into him - literally, he was driving in a straight line and they just hit his rear door. They argued it and argued it right up until his lawyer passed over the recording he'd made of the driver admitting to messing with her Sat Nav

it's actually become highly regulated here though, which is a good thing since the government requires you have it (not driving is really not a viable option for about 90% of people who live here)
I was hit by a stolen car* years ago and that went down as "at-fault", too.
*It wasn't stolen, but they had no insurance and gave false details at the scene and then the owner (Whoever that may be) lied about the car "going missing". I don't believe a word of it because, initially, they tried to cover their tracks by buying insurance the day after but ho hum

@Dan Stockholm is a nice city, well worth a visit. We don't actually live in the city; we're in a small town, just slightly too far out to be called a suburb, close to the Arlanda airport. But we both work in the city.
@JennyD that would still be quicker than the 300 mile journey we did a couple of weeks ago - took us 9 hours due to various motorways being closed and the resulting chaos

The cars fine most of the time, but on the days it isn't I'd give anything to be on my bike at the time! Managed an emergency pre-wedding journey in like 50 minutes which would have taken hours and hours due to an accident. Motorway had been reopened but I spent around 30 minutes filtering past near stationary traffic

My local senator was on the news last night talking about his pay and all sorts of crap. He explained that they can't change their pay, but that congressional members could give it back, or give it to charity. When asked if he would give his pay during the shutdown to charity he said "no". And that was the end of that.

Server (NATed) connected via VPN to public relay server. There are many of these servers and all have an own VPN connection to the relay server.
A client (mobile, NATed) sends data (own application protocol) via TLS/TCP to the public relay server. The server should forwar...
I can't tell if they are saying the mobile device is sending inbound traffic to the relay server destined for their server, or if they want the mobile device to follow the same outbound path/VPN as their NAT'd server does. The question needs a drawing...and even then it might be lost in translation.
@MDMarra I never started.. Just don't install a ton of management packs.. start with the built ins and make sure you have those configured like you want, and then do one pack at a time

@ChrisS That only works if your roads are TRULY parallel (we have a pair of streets in Kitchener-Waterloo (King & Weber) that both run north-ish/south-ish and cross 4 or 5 times), base your street addresses off latitude/longitude and only switch from Brazzers St. North to Brazzers St. South at the equator.
@Dan Do you happen to be on ubuntu? The default packages and wiki instructions are a little fucked. Make sure inetd isn't listening on that port and trying to run your TFTP server.
