I work for the company that appears to be your client. These are internal color codes that do not correspond to any color system, RGB, CMYK, etc. As has been suggested, you should ask for the corresponding color system info.
71R Volt is a standard fluorescent yellow.
00A Black is standard black....
I have been trying to make this logo, but as I am new to illustrator, I am unable to get the way he has done. Can someone help me please how to achieve that logo and with multicolor for each repeating shape? I have got till this image.
also your question, to a degree, is asking for work. All design software takes practice, practice, practice and again more practice.. There is really nothing someone can do for you, other than 1) Make a tutorial, which is not the scope of GD 2) Do your work, which again isnt the scope of GD. We are here to assist and educate but we are not here to do people's work.
@Matt_2.0 Well, in that video tutorial. I made up to that arc what he said, later I am unable to understand. I am not referring that arc as logo, instead I am referring logo which is in that tutorial.
@rick Still.. that is off topic on GD. We do not create work for people but help people in areas they may be lost. Your question is unclear, as stated in the comments and we are not understanding what your issue is. That is why @Bakabaka mentioned trying a few tutorial sites.
As @boblet posted: It is still very hard to glean what it is that is tripping you up, and what you want to achieve. I second @Bakabaka in that some basic tutorials is the first step. You need to be specific, and you could add some screenshots to your question.
May I suggest you try some other tutorials and try to get a better understanding of what you need? If you learn what you are trying to do it would help in your question and help you be able to ask a better question at that.

@rick I left a comment with the basic steps to get the shapes. Your question is exceptionally broad and is basically asking for a transcript of the video. If you were to ask "How do I duplicate objects around a center point... like in this video" that would be more on-topic. But simply asking "How do I make this?" Is off-topic.
Be aware we already have a few questions regarding "duplicating objects around a center point in Illustrator." so searching for that may be helpful.

it appeared he was more concerned about the downvotes and mastering the video when he shouldnt have been watching it and focusing on beginner tutorials.
I just read the Yahoo news ( uk.movies.yahoo.com/… ) I don't know what tobelieve though @Scott has convinced me in terms of pain with numbers, assuming that that's how he did. I think my favourite line is 'Lambert used a portrait picture taken by photographer Scott Gries, but if anything, the definition looks higher and more detailed on Lambert's 'painted' version'

Wait @John B are your colours not in sync despite having the same settings? :S
@John B I've got the same Hex codes in PS as I get in AI when selecting a colour. There are some differences though for example CMYK, C might be 77 in PS but 78 in AI..
@John B I wasn't dedicated enough to the cause to test pantone colours. I opened an old jpeg in both programs and checked the same box of colour with the eyedropper tool in each
I don't recommend many tabs and very many different colour profiles on an evidently unhappy machine. I'm going to leave this and come back to it when I have a solid understanding of what I'm doing :)
I'm a designer enthusiast working my ass off to get some real design chops. I spent the summer doing an internship in a small irish company making wedding invitations
but now I really want to step in to game design and that sort of thing, dude there are so many wedding fonts you don't even know! I think I prefer design pre-printer though I like to keep it on screen
I've graduated (yay) degree in multimedia and irish...unfortunately not a lot of design was covered in multimedia so now I'm a vulcher for knowledge!

See that's the thing Scott, when I was there I knew like 2 overweight people and I was there for a year! Obesity seems to have gotten much worse in Ireland and the UK than it seemed to be to me in Miami, a lot of people were really health senstive and stuff
