So someone on Math.SE asked, "Is a germ equivalent to an infinite jet?"
I don't know enough about the intersection of microbiology and aviation to answer that. :D
I do know, however, that most pathogenic microorganisms are smaller than most jet planes, which would make the answer "no."
And that's only considering finite jet planes.
I do admit, however, that it's possible that the poster of that question was asking about something else.
