@voretaq7 there are regimes of flight in a helicopter where airspeed of zero will make the copter fall out of the sky: settling with power. And there are regimes of level flight in airplanes where you won't stall at zero KIAS. The last one is left as an exercise for the reader.
@egid most of my flying has been in northern California. But I've flown across/around the country a number of times, and trips to Alaska, Jamaica, and Mexico. These days I'm in New York City, and am concentrating on glider flying.
