So I texted an instructor today asking for suggestions for getting better at judging height on final approach.

He responded saying that "Lovett finals would help".

I couldn't find information on Google about "Lovett finals", which makes me suspect that that was an autocorrect mistake.

Are there any such things as Lovett finals, and if not, what might the instructor have been trying to say?

"Long finals", maybe?

So I've been idly thinking about making a flight simulation video game. Sort of like Kerbal Space Program or SimplePlanes.

I'll need to come up with a "good-enough" flight model, so that the player can do stuff like adjust the camber of the wings and see what happens.
