@NobodytheHobgoblin Not every question about planes is about portals, please be more careful about this project.

We got to play Mothership again last night. Sci Fi / Horror, modestly high lethality. (We lost a PC on the first mission, but a few of us got out with our skins as the plague and man eating abominations closed in on the outpost we were investigating on the planet. We are now at a space station that has terrorists/underground movement who set of a bomb blast on the tram we were taking My teamster lost 1/3 of his health...but we decided not to get involved. It's an oxygen rationing issue .

@NotArch, Yes many many are not. As I think you know I did a review of questions that use the term, and most do not. I thought this one however was a fit as it asks about creating permanent gates, which is the same as asking how to create portals.

@NobodytheHobgoblin The question is about how to link two planes. A portal or gate is a solution, but maybe not all. Mostly, you’ve got a a hammer for portal tags and you’re looking for nails and that’s not a great method.

@NotArch I try to only hammer the right nails. The title is part of the question (and an important part), and it talks about setting up gates, so there is no reason to not apply the tag, or is there some rule that a question may only be concerned with a tag?

@NotArch The portal tag is or is not related to the cake tag? I feel like it's a lie either way. /S

Read this question and really hope the OP goes down the rabbit hole of taxonomies.
