Almost Bedtime Theater is a father and daughter (and sometimes cousin) podcast about family friendly tabletop RPGs! With lots of in-game shenanigans, review commentary from grown ups and kids, and a wide variety of systems tried, it’s a great show for anyone wanting to listen with young players. Q: Which skill should be used if I want to let my PC drive a modern vehicle?

Terry WindwalkerLet's say my PC get a chance to access some modern vehicles (cars and tanks) as their findings from a ruin, and they try to drive them. What skill should I ask them to check? Maybe first try Knowledge (Engineering) to figure out how it works (maybe by the wizards) and then try Ride to actually dr...

Q: Does splash from a bomb count as a separate source of damage?

Anne AunymeLet's say Bob the Alchemist throws an Alchemist's Fire (1d8 damage, 1 splash damage) at an Arboreal Regent (who has a weakness 10 to fire), and manages to hit! Would this Arboreal Regent take, in total, 1d8+11 damages (splash being bundled with the rest of damages since it's the same type) or 1d8...

Q: Can you use the Seeming spell to appear invisible?

KGoblinThe Seeming spell gives any number of creatures you can see within range a new appearance. Is it possible to use this spell to make the caster and their friends transparent?

@KorvinStarmast Seems like Owen Reynolds has a start to an answer in comments, too.
Hoping they submit it as a full answer.

But I know nothing at all about Rolemaster.
I have a stackexchange question that I'm not sure how to formulate; started a new one-player campaign yesterday with my brother in Pathfinder 1e, and I've been messing around with summoner. Unless I misunderstand, a Master Summoner can, rather easily, cast 10 summon spells, summoning 10 creatures. With Evolved Summoned Monster, twice, each one can have Shared Evolution and Limbs (arms). So.... I can give the party fighter ten extra sets of limbs, if I had a party fighter, with just 1 level of summoner and 2 feats? I suppose level 1 summoner doesn't quite work because they vanish within a mi
That sounds like a solid question, especially since aren't most magic items attainable and not like 5e's DM fiat?
Yeah... although a DM might object to the CL 20 wand of Summon Monster 1, because what kind of level 20 wizard spends his time making wands of summon monster 1 and selling them on the market?

Why you gotta call Fred "wand of summon Monster 1" Bobkins out like that?
I had thought 3.5e items were more accessible as long as you had the criteria(fairly sure that is wrong now), but if it's still up to the DM to provide, then yeah - it boils down to ask your DM :)
But, afaict, the combo works without a wand, because Master Summoners can already cast Summon Monster 10 times a day with a 10x longer duration.
If you're certain in that, then the only question seems to be if you can stack with the wand?
But verifying you're right on the stack ain't a bad idea.

Q: Can Magic Aura fool Hallow?

minnmassLet's say I'm a PC who would be excluded by a hallow effect, but I don't want my party members to know. I've been casting Magic Aura to hide the fact that I'm undead from the paladin. Our cleric has decided to hallow a small shrine, and asked the rest of the party to rest in the safe space. Does ...
