Iâm pretty sure what I read was abridged. Little kids do not need to read some of that stuff.
And it was in the elementary school library school so actually Iâm completely certain they were abridged versions or stories by others about some of the mythos creatures
We're having solar put in today... I can tell I'm not going to get much work done. Hard to concentrate when there are workmen using power tools on the other side of the roof & wall next to you.
Blades in the Dark group last night had a nice moment of "play to find out what happens". They were trying to get a new lair. They had permission from a gang boss to muscle in on a business that was behind on their payments and use part of their building. I was expecting they'd go there armed to the teeth and make a show of force.
Instead, they followed the plant manager for a while and found that he was paying his protection money to a different gang. So now it looks like they're going to make a show of force against those guys.
But what they end up doing is ambush the plant manager on his way home, throw him in the back of a van, and just extort him personally.
