Lit it at 5pm. Started smoking 6. Added coals and water at midnight. Took it off at 8AM.

IMO we should add paprika, but since we usually smoke it over mesquite (we chop the logs the day ahead of time) there's a lot of flavor/smokey already in it.

I used post oak on my last brisket and I typically use pecan on the ribs so far. Ribs came out good but the beef came out... weird

The tome of horrors is good.

Various map resources, if you're into that sort of thing.

Overall great buy of $15, but like in any humble bundle, I'm not going to use large swathes of it.

You obviously don't get the smoke, but, overall very good and VERY low effort.

Forge Cleric 6/GW Fighter 1, GWM feat. LOTS of damage. I cast only 3 spells and dealt over 250 damage in about 10 - 12 rounds. Mostly just brained people with the weapon, but Spirit Guardians, Spiritual Weapon, and a well-placed Heat Metal did some very heavy lifting

I think I had also saved up two big magic items for the final battle of the 6 year campaign. One of them I"d had for a couple years. A potion of Storm Giant strength (increased my modifier from +5 to +9) and an oil of sharpness (another +3 onto the weapon.)

Expected (=average) damage is linear: E(damage) = E(damage on hit) * P(hit) + E(damage on miss) * P(miss)

You can include other categories like crits and such in a similar manner.

@GcL There haven't been that many rolls yet, but one such example I called out is an attack roll that should have failed, but the invisible roll was a 3, and I reported that "for some reason, even though you feel like you should have missed, you hit them instead" after they made a ranged attack.

Also, they passed a stealth check despite rolling a 10 (the invisible roll was a 5).

@GcL This is basically correct, but it is important to also remember that there is nothing inherently magical about system tags. You can add a tag if OP indicates what game they are playing in the body and/or comments for example. The key thing is not to focus on the tags themselves, but that OP must specify somehow.

@SirCinnamon which would make sense because graphing that would be wild. You'd essentially get several distributions, one for each possible type of die, which could theoretically be unbounded, so I wouldn't think they'd code that into their software

Roll20 uses the same syntax. XdYdZ (or XdYdlZ) rolls X number of Y-sided dice and drops the lowest Z number of results, XdYkZ (or XdYkhZ) rolls the same dice but keeps the highest Z number of results
