Starting a @GalileoGames Bulldogs! campaign tomorrow. A game powered by @EvilHatOfficial's Fate Core system. I'm also using Skill prompt cards and @RyanMacklin's Backstory cards to aid character creation. Excited about this one.
Rats are slain, rations are packed, and the doggos get an exciting chance for a car ride! I mean wagon. Definitely a wagon.
This week's in-game panel is available as a coloring page to $5+ patrons! https://www.patreon.com/dndoggos
#RuinoftheDay: Abandoned sod roof house in Hemsedal, Norway.
This traditional method of roofing sees grass growing on top of a layer of birch bark. However it must be well maintained, or the roof will be destroyed by trees.
@KorvinStarmast cool :) things are improving here. wondering if you saw my "looking for one old-school D&D sort" pin, btw (you're one of the Stackizens I was thinking if when I made it and had nits pin it)
Looking for one old-school-experienced D&D player (i.e. B/X or similar and/or AD&D/2e experience, in addition to experience with or the willingness to learn 5e) to serve as a test subject for a setting element in a short-form, online D&D game.
@KorvinStarmast one-on-one this time 'round :) although if have a group thing with a potential opening as well depending on how some other stuff works or doesn't work and how your schedule looks
You should play more indie RPGs. Here’s why. https://www.polygon.com/2018/1/18/16905694/independent-rpg-world-wide-wrestling-fiasco-dread-ten-candles?utm_campaign=polygon&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
Placodus was an armoured marine reptile from the middle Triassic. They specialised in hunting shellfish and had powerful jaws & teeth to smash their prey. Adults measured 2 metres long.

He teased it by using a camera flash and then hiding behind a rock, so he could pop out the other side and get a picture up close when it came to investigate.
> There are 3 men on a boat and 4 cigarettes, they don't have a lighter, how do they smoke? > They toss one cigarette over board to make the boat a cigarette lighter.
@Shalvenay Sorry, you lost me to sleep :/ (Still getting used to this "having a regular schedule" thing :P) I'd be free all day/night today for DW, if you like
Equipment wise, I just took standard quick build, should I stick with that or add one item to have upgraded armor from level 1 to 2? (Like breast plate instead of chain mail, or whatever ...
Or, I can finally afford a set of navigators tools and that's it?
@KorvinStarmast ah. figured we'd use the back room for this game for simplicity's sake if you will. was asking Skyler because the rest of the game I'm working on pulling him into is on Discord (only reason I'm poking him first is because his schedule's probably more ameniable to being meshed with other folks' than yours is, I reckon :)
The handshake works like this: I create the room, I post the room address here, I wait for someone to show up in the chat, then I ask the person here if they got in the room with the nickname I saw. Just to be sure that nobody is trying to impersonate them. Then we go to the MP room. Complex, maybe, but it reduce the chances that someone uninvited joins.
It works. I'm lilybet, of course. I think the handshake process should also involve a token passed via MP, right now if there were 2 guests in the room one could prtend to be the other wiote easily with my current instructions...
Hello @ArtOfCode
Also hello other people I don't recognize such as @ToxicFrog, @wizzwizz4 and @Skyler
@Zachiel Being a mod and a DM is not so different...in both cases you have absolute control over your subjects, yet are expected to use it to their benefit ;)
