Lesser demons return as lemures, which really pisses them off as it takes a couple thousand years to return to their previous form.

@Polyducks would be interesting to know how the demons work in the Ultima world. It is possible that in that context the demons are just physical creatures, or maybe they have immortal souls too. The games never cared to explain that. Actually, the whole Black Rock Sword thing is a little unclear all around (and pretty ridiculous too, since basically you are wielding your own cryptonite in a way...)

The moment anyone enters the plane, a mirror duplicate of them is generated at a random point on the plane. The copy knows the location of the original, and that if the original exits the plane the copy will cease to exist.

When my group entered the mirror plane, the Chaotic Neutral cleric got a Lawful Good copy who teamed up with us, clued us in to the whole "homicidal clones who want to kill and replace us," and helped us defeat them before accepting his fate when we left at our destination.

@Polyducks Not usually, no. The big catch is, the relationship of the mirrors to each other in the hallways is constantly shifting. One minute you're in a hallway of mirrors in blue frames, the next it's mirrors that are reflecting murderers, and then it's mirrors in the city of Incep.

I was searching for a source for One Piece time ago since it seem my country will be forever stuck at the Fishman Island arc (luckily, I can at least easily buy the manga, the books are published regularly. The anime... isn't) and I happened to see the recent english american dub... argh.
