@ReaperOscuro Pretty sure I'd have to chainge countries to join the NHS. :)

1 hour later…
01:42
Indeed.
02:12
Hmm... I'm creating a setting mod for Wild Talents, and I'm trying to figure what questions I want the players to answer for their characters before they actually stat them up?
02:56
Aww, I missed IT chatter.

2 hours later…
04:55
Stephen King's IT?

2 hours later…
07:02
@Metool Tridus talking about his work, I suspect :)

3 hours later…
09:39
Wow. Gary Gygax is the man. "To become the final arbiter, rather than the interpreter of the rules, can be a difficult and demanding task, and it cannot be undertaken lightly, for your players expect to play this game, not one made up on the spot."
@Metool Information Technology. Nice try, anyhow. Have this baloon.

2 hours later…
11:24
> Baloon (n): A rubbery prosthetic substitute for baleen.
11:39
@Tridus but think of the possibilities! You could come to an even more frustrating organisation, and go on a killing spree out of despair!
@BESW lol just checked what a baleen is -what, of a whale?
@Metool it's worse than that IT: much scarier
12:02
Btw, anyone post in chat via the mobile? Its just that it was going fine, then clicked full site, and canna get back to the mobile view. Any idea how to do such?
@ReaperOscuro There's a 'mobile' link in the same place the full site link was
at the bottom

2 hours later…
14:15
@ReaperOscuro Yes. Rubber whale dentures.
Just watched the two rediscovered Doctor Who episodes with Trogdor. They're great.
@JonathanHobbs Yeah, complaining about work. ;)
> When the yeti come for you, don't struggle.
14:27
@BESW Are the yetis actually nice and full of hugs? Or is it more that they'll break your arms off?
In this case, it's because they weren't going to kill the characters immediately and the Doctor had a plan.
"The Web of Fear" story is a whodunit with robotic yetis in the London Underground.
And "The Enemy of the World" is Doctor Who doing a Mission Impossible / James Bond mashup, and doing it better than they usually did.
(Patrick Troughton plays both the Doctor and the Bond Villain.)
@BESW Ha!
Are they made up to look different or is the idea that they look the same?
The idea is that they look similar.
The first scene is the Doctor getting shot at by people who hate Salamander, and then rescued by people who want him to impersonate Salamander.
(Isn't "Salamander" a perfect Bond Villain Name, too?)
14:54
(There's a similar conceit in a First Doctor historical story, but it was more of a running gag than a plot point.)

1 hour later…
16:00
Man, hardly anybody does anything with their expanded usercards.
16:37
@BESW What?
@Metool People with over 10k rep on a site have a drop shadow on their site avatars. If you mouse over it, you get a little scorecard that tells you more about them.
By default it's mostly just a copy of your profile.
But you can fiddle with it in a number of different ways.
16:53
Man, my last nWoD session was a blast!
...meaning that one of us detonated the explosives around the house.
(the in-game house)
Yeah, pretty much. TPK.
Self-inflicted TPK.
17:08
Tweets to Campaign By takes a break from tweets to fearfully consider the mysterious and potentially monstrous origins of the Space Roar.

(NASA link not available because some people think closing down the guys who discovered that the universe is roaring at us is a good idea.)

1 hour later…
18:37
@JonathanHobbs ah thanks dude....yea found it lol! Just under the copyright bit for me, ta :)
@BESW just made me think of you watching Dr Who with a kind of Igor/homunculi/familiar by your side! Sorry Trogdor, just the way it was put.
19:09
@BESW I purposefully disabled mine on B&CG
Just, I dunno, nothing to write.
