though it seems slightly self explainatory ...

its taking screen as an input, setting fps to 30. I don't get what screen caching does but it can be looked up.

Its doing mp4v for video, mpga as audio at full scale, at 1280x800

the mysterious stuff is likely stuff you can look up on docs
