How do you image flash storage with used space only, excluding empty space?
Having bootable 16GB SD card with 59MB of used space imaged into 16GB file is not a good use of space.

yea compression deals with empty space pretty well
or there are imaging tools that'll go "59 meg of data, followed by nothing"

how are you 'seeing' it's imasge is 16gb?
In windows, you need to check 'size on disk'
A file might report it's 16Gb in size, but infact only takes 4kb on disk
