@KronoS Actually, given the amount of votes on Sathya, it seems half the people don't vote on everyone. But well, it's a reflection of the voting on the site itself... :D

lol... seriously... I get the wrong array length, so to debug I alert the array just before - which fixes the problem - removing the alert breaks it again!
argh, that question I asked for help last night on the word... it's not @Moab's fault, but it annoys me when you go to the effort and people don't read the answer... especially considering the time stamp and I said the same thing in my answer :S
I have never used it on a machine with so much memory! (Only time I have used more than 16GB involves a server that typically has its own built in memory checkers)
You use the memtest86+ tag, but state memtest86 in the question - I would just say make sure you are using Memtest86+ and not Memtes...

@IvoFlipse I wasn't really looking for that, but many thanks! ... just wondering (and hope not) that the site(s) are getting a lot more like that... post a quick answer and don't go to the effort of actually explaining the problem :S I have noticed more and more things like that
@KronoS I don't think that is unfair for Meta... you want an experienced user to answer... but, it really depends on the question.. if it is a general one and a newbie answers just as well, then they deserve just as much credit.
Speaking solely out of experience from Super User but since this appears to be an issue for the trilogy sites and other SO sites I'll add my two bits.
This is a very difficult thing to implement in what you are proposing. This concept of:

I'm currently applying for my university's internship program and for internships with my home town's environmental services bureau and the agency which runs all our hydroelectric dams. but hey, research/internship abroad in holland would be an exciting experience!
regarding voting: I say, vote for whoever has the best answer. If multiple answers are similar in content and quality, either vote them both up, or vote up the lower-rep user to be nice, or vote up whoever posted first
@IvoFlipse I wouldn't mind... I have been wanting to go to Holland for ages... My surname is Hilsum... and my family was meant to come from Hilversome (not sure of spelling :S) so wouldn't mind exploring a little!
I'm thinking of looking for internships/research abroad for next summer (2012), actually. Working remotely would work for this summer, but it's likely to late for anything involving travel, when I think about it realistically. Gives me a whole year to think about it though! I'm going to be looking for stuff in spanish speaking countries particularly, since that's my second language, but will also be considering english speaking places abroad (like holland, say)
as for remote work, depending on how busy I end up being this summer, I would absolutely be interested in doing something for you, if it were something I have enough experience to actually complete
Argh. I like silverstripe as a CMS, but every once in a while it annoys the heck out of me. It keeps stripping <code> tags from my posts, so now I need to figure out how to change the allowed tags list, which isn't anywhere obvious
