@bwDraco I don't disagree (similar political views :)) but I'd be careful; someone flagged a message of mine that was of a particular political bent a few months ago and I got temporarily suspended from chat... if that person or someone like them is lurking in chat, that wouldn't be good... Just be careful is all
How deep does the cultural dissonance run that there's this expectation that hacking (and other morally dubious behaviors I've witnessed elsewhere) are perfectly acceptable if someone higher up tells you to do it?
Winner's a winner, but the fact that this the game mechanics allow this is not okay.
I don't normally follow eSports, but if it's to go mainstream like traditional sports, game devs need to spend time making sure their games are properly balanced.
> Players have been complaining about this exploit for a month, but recent patch notes addressing the exploit only say that Ubisoft is working to "remove this unintended behavior."
Not any I know of, but I think there have been a few in the past. Some problems are unavoidable when a new game is released, it's a matter of how well the devs support it.
I think SMITE had issues in the first season, but again, I don't really follow eSports.
@bwDraco @djsmiley2k All of these laws are stupid without some means of alcohol breath testing ... otherwise it is down to definition (visibly drunk - what does that mean?) and someone's judgement.
@DavidPostill I closed this superuser.com/questions/1240894/… - its a terrible question, has a clear lack of research, and is more about terminology than anything else...
