Without the GIFs my CPU usage hovers at 2-3% so having seventy GIFs on screen only increases my CPU usage by 3-4%. Also increases my laptop's overall power consumption by less than 5%.
It's odd how Chrome seems to be known for such bad battery life when it actually appears to be extremely efficient
Maybe it's how much power it's using just from background idling. Chrome appears to be eating about 5-6w, or 50% of my laptop's overall power consumption just sitting there doing nothing. Most of my background tabs are not loaded, and the ones that are, are almost entirely static.
But adding a dozen video-laden pages to those dozen static tabs only increases power consumption by a negligible 10-20%
:-o uhh yeah wow
Just tried the same 70 GIFs with Edge - uses something like 50% more CPU and 50% more power even with no background tabs.
So much for Edge being so much more efficient than Chrome, which Microsoft likes to keep bragging about
Chrome is the best for battery life if you spend all your time online in GIF-laden StackExchange chat rooms.

But just being a young guy on the internet, it's a bit of a sensitive topic. Also, when people don't take you seriously because of your age, it really sucks
I considered issuing kicks but they had already mostly moved to a new room and stuff was about to topic-switch here, so I didn't want to risk making it worse
@BenN Happened once IIRC. Though IMO it's better if it happens from a room regular, as opposed to an external unfamiliar mod hopping in and timeouting the place.
I have a script to clear the credential manager but one of the credentials was created by the admin on the users profile. I need to delete that credential but I need admin rights to do it. When I run it as a standard user, everything else is deleted except that 1 credential

@JourneymanGeek no, I wasn't aware, for me @Avery was just a cute yellow ball. I don't stalk every user to know whatever they are. I may be clumsy, but I don't wanna be mean.
On those words, I'll be going back to sleep, and muting my phone ><
I'm still impressed how amazingly well this bot works with just a one line copy paste from the old bot. I don't have any of quixy or foxy's custom code.
@Rahul2001 if someone doesn't want their cute yellow ball-ness brought up they shouldn't have a cute yellow ball as an avatar.

@Ericode what are you trying to do? If you need to run an elevated command as a non admin user, you'll probabla need some workaround like loading that users's registry (ntuser.dat)
@satibel I have a script to clear the credential manager. One of the credentials on the users profile is created by the admin automatically and I need to clear this credential also. I am able to clear all the credentials on the admin profile because he has admin rights but on a standard users profile, I can't clear it unless I do it manually
certain someone (mom) who spends money to very noble causes (like do a 300$ dog or a 400$ phone after she threw the old one to ground with anger) will see the new phone as useless and will just tell me to get it repaired to which I will reply by getting the tools myself and by fixing it myself.
@Avery I've been asking my mum to get my shattered screen fixed for 6 months and she finally agreed yesterday but then suddenly went out of town a couple of hours ago :/
@JourneymanGeek kinda. it wasn't listening properly in the other room :P
I codez good
.setValue('#email', config.email)
.setValue('#password', config.password)
// for some reason the first setValue does nothing *in Firefox headless*
.setValue('#email', config.email)
.setValue('#password', config.password)
idk
@allquixotic ^ bodgy fix
it's not timing dependent - I waited like 2 mins and checked it existed. also, setting it twice in a roll does nothing. you have to focus in, focus out, then set...
