Creative ones are great for bluescreening your computer. That said, they still issued Windows 10 drivers for 2004 sound cards, so that's pretty impressive support longevity.

I was surprised enough to find Windows 8.1 drivers when I was looking but noticed the Windows 10 preview drivers listed under it (this was over a year ago).

The sad irony is, Creative haven't gotten any of my money for the last ten years, because they're products are so good they still work reliably and I've had no need to replace them.

@Rahul2001 Just as "the cloud" means "someone else's computer", "local dev environment" is a fancy way of saying your own computer.

"I have no local dev env" means, in practical terms, "I don't have a PC with admin rights".

So it seems that the proxy does very little to compress (likely as many website use compression in the first place) but hey, every megabyte counts.

I observed reductions ranging from 3% to 10% (but sometimes more) during normal browsing.

hmm. So iptop's bandwidth numbers are being distorted by the fact that there's a lot of upstream requests from the browser...

...as well as background upstream activity.
