Port 1 just has that, port 2 has the data pins passed through to the input connector. So you would need port 2 for QC, or port 1 if you want to deliberately block QC

No step-down regulation in the phone when using Dash Charge. The charger drives power straight into the battery.

Consider that Dash Charge/VOOC runs at up to 4A at battery voltage...
