> It's a bizarre-looking add-on that promises you'll never drop your phone again. It clips on the back, then you thread your finger through the hole to get a good grasp.
I suspect that the finger loop mechanism would need to have some thought put into the padding of it, silicon softness or something. Those are pretty sensitive (lots of nerves per sq in) , and usefull appendages to have something digging into them, or slightly cutting off circulations.
most of his tests show amazing resilliance, but the tests are also so unrealistic, yet well standardised. Take "dropping a screw" off of any device your dissasembling, what is the minimum ammount of bounces that screw will incurr before finnaly rolling under the last thing you will expect to find it?
Take the times you have ever dropped anything, how many bounces off first your own hands, then some items anywhere in the vicinity (even if there is clear space for 20 Feet) then always landing jelly side down.
If one accidentally got thier phone to close to a construction hammer, it aint going to happen like that ever. proof? it never hits like that when your thumb is involved :-)
I have a power supply unit with two fans, but it makes much noise. I know that there are models with one fans.
Would it be harmful if I removed one fan of them?
"No gerbil pellets" I know you want to keep Avast but I have a suggestion that involves you uninstalling it and then installing it again. But 2 hours later we are still at "I want to keep Avast" stage.
I am using Windows 8.1 which allows for creating user accounts with limited privileges. When we attempt to log into a user account with limited privileges, i.e. a child account, the screen turns blue and suggests that I search online for this error: unexpected_kernel_model_trap. Then it shuts d...

Not bad. I have a couple rolls of that tape, it's pretty cheap. Easy to replace.

Hmm, I'm right in the middle of those two categories. Wonder where I sit
@kerbalspacebecky If they say (over represented) that 50% of people have an accident in your age group, but actually it's only 20%, your chances of having an accident just dropped by 2.5x. If you're under represented, they say 20% have an accident but actually 50% do, you just ended up 2.5x more likely to have an accident than you were initially told. Or something, I dunno, 2am here. Just don't have a damn accident.
Everything in Windows 10 worked perfectly for just 3 or 4 days after upgrading from 8.1.
Yesterday I wanted to use the search feature, so I press win+s and get the error "Critical Error: Your Start menu isn't working. We'll try to fix it the next time you sign in."
(I also can't open the setting...
Did this but in a WinRE command prompt instead of creating a new account. You will lose your Start menu tiles if you do this. Reboot the machine, run ` Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}` in PowerShell, reboot again, and all should be back to normal. — bwDraco1 min ago
I've stood at the bus stop for 30+ minutes and there's no bus. MTA Bus Time says there's no bus en-route even though there's supposed to be scheduled bus service!
