@JourneymanGeek It was weak for 5GHz, I've just upgraded wifi adapter to asus ac56 with 2 internal antennas and one external and the signal it catches is way better.

(there's multiple standards for homeplug AV - 200 is the basic. Higher standards are faster, though never up to their ratings, but handle noise better)
